When we go away we always take our dogs with us as they are part of our family, Our resident Fur babies (above) are Chica Bella aka Cheeky Beans and Benny aka Boo and our latest addition to the family Bertie (upper left) aka Whirlwind, Bertie Bassett, Houdini among other names! He is currently in a bromance with our cat Leo Le Chat! Stanley (below) is unfortunately no longer with us, he will always hold a special place in our hearts and is greatly missed. He was a big part of the reason for setting up our dog friendly website and will always be remembered by our regulars. He wasn't one for long walks and liked nothing more than to be driven round the campsite on the golf cart.
We now have Wesley (above left) in the family a very fun, boisterous, full of energy, He is absolutely adorable but a complete livewire nothing like our chilled out Stanley was although Wesley does power down eventually
We found its not always easy for us to find holidays that will welcome our dogs as well as us
*There is a restriction on how many dogs you can take with you
*There is a fee to pay *You can't leave them in the accommodation if you need to pop to the shops or run an errand.
Lets face it in this day and age leaving your dog outside a shop is just not safe anymore.
DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?
As a family we decided on a little venture It was our aim to create our own place for dog friendly breaks where there are no extra fees to pay, no restrictions on the number of dogs you bring, and no one to complain about the noise. However you do not have to have dogs to stay with us
We can accept Motorhomes, Caravans and Tents UNISEX SHOWER BLOCK WITH INDIVIDUAL CUBICLES (including Shower, WC, Sink, Heater, and Hairdryer) SEPERATE WC's also available
Peaceful private 5 acre field
We have a lovely open space that is peaceful, idyllic and beautiful. Ideal for watching the sunrise and sunset
Restful area with pond
For times when you want to sit down and take a rest.
Please note: Dogs must be on a lead in this area There is no fencing round the pond so we would not recommend allowing any unaccompanied young children to this area.
